The whole staff was outstandingly accommodating and very attentive. The location was nice and very special - very close to a booked taxi, the exceptional view over the canyon and the "sasso barisano". It also was in the pedestrian zone.

The staff was exceptional, very helpful and kind. They provided great service, giving us directions and recommendations. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in a pedestrian zone but close enough to the limited traffic zone for easy access. The view from the balcony was amazing, especially during sunrise.
The bathroom being located down a flight of stairs was a bit inconvenient, especially during the night. The room was clean overall but had some dusty areas.

The hotel's location allowed me to explore the charming historic town of Matera, with its impressive architecture and ancient caves. The breakfast spread was a delightful mix of pastries, cured meats, and fresh fruits. The shared lounge and panoramic terrace were perfect for relaxation. The modern amenities, including Wi-Fi and TV, made my stay comfortable.
Oh, how I loved those steep, narrow alleys that made parking and car access impossible. Such an inconvenience, but hey, it added to the adventure, right?

The spaciousness of the apartment, with its cozy bedroom and large living room, provided us with a comfortable and luxurious experience. The true highlight was the expansive terrace, offering breathtaking views of the stunning landscape of Matera. We enjoyed sipping on a glass of local wine as we soaked in the enchanting atmosphere of the city illuminated by twinkling lights. The host was also incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early and safely store our luggage for a late check-out. They even helped us secure a secure parking spot, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast provided was delicious, featuring an authentic Italian cappuccino.
